Bob lives in Strathcona County with his wife Judy, and continues his commitment to the financial and social growth of Alberta through extensive involvement with business, community and charitable organizations throughout the province.

Allan Farmer, BCom, LLB, Q.C. is a lawyer and partner at Reynolds, Mirth, Mirth, Richards & Farmer LLP, an Edmonton law firm established in 1915 that provides regional and national legal services. Mr. Farmer has been involved with the United Way of Edmonton and has served as Chairman of the Crohns & Colitis Golf Tournament and as a board member for other charitable organizations.

Rod Krips is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Viking, a position he has held for the past 12 years. Prior to joining the Town of Viking, Rod spent 23 years in hospital administration with 20 years as the Executive Director of the Viking General Hospital. Rod has served on numerous community volunteer organizations.

Marlene Stefura, B.Ed, M.Ed is a school administrator and Assistant Superintendent of Grand Prairie Catholic School District. She is a member of the Alberta Teachers Association, the College of Alberta and Catholic School Superintendents, and the Peace Area Council of School Administrators. Marlene is actively involved in parish committees, volunteer youth work and community activities.

Les Stelmach, BCom, CFA is an equity research analyst with Bissett Investment Management, a subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments. He has ten years of experience in the investment industry, having previously worked as a sell-side equity analyst for the securities division of a large Canadian bank, and is a member of the Calgary Society of Financial Analysts.

Janet Van Hecke is a retired farm wife and office manager. Following ten years of farming, Mrs. Hecke and her husband owned and operated an industrial waste management business for 17 years. While raising her family, she was involved in the local 4-H Beef Club as well as board directorship for the Fort Saskatchewan Golf & Curling Club. She and her family are currently active ambassadors for the upcoming Sherwood Park Library.

Christopher Warren, BA, LLB, Q.C. is a lawyer and senior partner in the Red Deer law firm Warren Sinclair LLP. Mr. Warren is also corporate secretary and director of a TSX publicly-traded corporation, Public Member of the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta, and a member of the Law Society of Alberta’s Conveyancing Advisory Committee.

Ivan Weleschuk, BSc, MEc is an accredited appraiser and professional agrologist, and currently the principal of his own consulting company: Weleschuk Associates Ltd. Mr. Weleschuk is a member of the Alberta Institute of Agrologists, and is accredited as an appraiser through the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the Canadian National Association of Real Estate Appraisers.

Curtis Palichuk, BCom, CA is the Managing Partner of Wilde & Company Chartered Accountants in Vegreville. After a number of years with an international mining and manufacturing corporation, Mr. Palichuk spent several years as the Chief Financial Officer for a Western Canadian sporting goods retailer before returning to public practice in 1996.
